Can single people celebrate Valentine’s Day too?
Most people think of Valentine’s day as a couple or Love thing. Well a lot of us single men and women don’t have a special someone in our lives, but that doesn’t mean we can’t get or do anything special. Any advice?
For instance I’m single, but I really like this guy, we’re friends and all and he knows how much I like him. So the sweetest thing he could do is to ask me out on Valentine’s Day. Take me out to eat or just come over and watch a movie. I don’t think that’s too much is it? But I’d be really shocked if something like that happened. Shoot I be happy if he just called to say happy Valentine’s day.

I think you should ask him out! Maybe he’s interested but not forward enough to ask you out. Ask him over for dinner, make a nice semi-romantic dinner, nothing too over the top cuz you don’t wanna scare him. If something happens, cool, and if not, you’re in no worse place than you were before.
I think that the best Valentine’s Day gift is to simply tell someone how much you care about them. Tell a friend how much their friendship means to you… send them a card or an e-card with your feeling. Everyone loves to be loved and appreciated.
There’s absolutely no reason singles can’t celebrate Valentine’s Day. If you don’t have a date, hook up with other single friends and have some fun. Or just treat yourself to your favorite meal, your favorite movie, buy yourself something you’ve wanted for a long time…
