This message is for the person who posted about not wanting to be on my Christmas list: My husband and I come from HUGE families who are very close. We have over 45 people we have to buy Christmas for and that is not a joke! Homemade gifts are what we can afford this year because we just had a child. I, too, am glad that you are not on my Christmas list, I don’t like having rude, selfish people to buy for.
Chocolate or peanut butter fudge and homemade caramels are the favorite Candy’s and chocolate crinkles, peanut butter kisses and frosted sugar cookies are their favorite cookies. Magic cookie bars are their favorite bars. Hope these help you.
Since you have such a very large list of people to make something for how about muffins or dessert type breads. Most everyone loves banana bread, some with and others without nuts. Then there are chocolate, chocolate chip muffins. I also like apple muffins with chunks of apple. These would be much faster and freeze well, for baking ahead of time. With a baby your time is limited.
